Christianity is an Abrahamic monotheistic thought based on the life and teaching of Jesus of Nazarath, known as Christians.

2. HOLY FESTIVAL:
Christmas is the holy festival celebrated by Christians. Christmas is an annual festival honoring the birth of Jesus Christ. It is experiential mainly on 25 December, as a religious and holy festival celebrated by billions of people every year around the whole world.
3. HISTORY:
The Origin stories of Matthew and Luke are conspicuous in the gospels and initial Christian writers recommended a number of dates for the anniversary. The first recorded Christmas celebration was in Rome in 336. Christmas played a role in the Arian agreement of the fourth century. In the early Middle Ages, it was dominated by Epiphany. The banquet recovered importance after 800 when Charlemagne was crowned emperor on Christmas Day.
4. CHOICE OF 25 DECEMBER:
In the 3rd century, the date of birth of Jesus was the subject of both unlimited curiosity and excessive ambiguity. There were a lot of dates kept in options like 20 May, 18 April, 19 June etc, But finally, 25 December was chosen to be the best day for celebration in winter.
5.DECORATION:
The rehearsal of positioning a special decoration at Christmas has a long history. In the 15th century, it was noted down that in London it was the tradition at Christmas for every house and all the district churches to be “decorated with bells, lights, inlets, and whatever the season of the year come up with the money to be green” Christmas banners and lights may be hung in the streets for the awesome look.

Christmas carols in English first appeared in a 1426 work of John Awdlay, a Shropshire chaplain, who lists twenty-five “carols of Christmas”, perhaps sung by clusters of wassailers, who went from house to house.

Some regions, such as Sicily, have special meals for Christmas when 12 kinds of fish are served. In the United Kingdom and countries inclined by its traditions, a standard Christmas meal includes turkey, goose or other large bird, gravy, potatoes, vegetables, sometimes bread.
