Rinspeed is a Swiss automobile manufacturer having recognition in restoring classic cars and modifying modern cars such as Porsches and Subarus. They have manufactured a futuristic vehicle which is greatly suitable to use as a small office, a corner store, a food point or any other type of shops as desired by the owner. The manufacture’s target is to achieve satisfaction of owner through its nice products.
Basically the concepts was to offer client some freedom in how he use his pods convertible vehicle. The 2020 edition will be launched with this theme having an upgraded changeover mechanism allowing pods to transfers into new shape just in seconds.
This removable pod is built on a skateboard chassis which can be upgraded, replaced or removed as required by the owner. Furthermore, the vehicle keeps two piece electric powered structure that can be detach when required. With the nice new trade mechanism the pods could be towed, parked at some point and then could be relocated when the work is over.
As briefed by the manufacture, these pods could be a courier or cargo station for peoples to drop off or pickup goods, or perhaps a health food store.
The all new modular pod concept from Rinspeed is in progress and initial step towards series production has now been taken. Company’s target is to make a premiere at CES in Las Vegas, on January 7, 2020.
