Today I am going to show all of you who are struggling with embarrassing dandruff how to make your own DIY dandruff shampoo. The good thing about this is most dandruff shampoos are so expensive and they really don’t work so now I am going to show you how to make a natural dandruff shampoo that really works.
The Ingredients You Will Need
So the ingredients that I have chosen are some of the best ingredients that you can use to grow your hair to stop hair loss and to fight those embarrassing dandruff. Our first ingredient is castile soap. Castile comes from plants derived from vegetable oil or olive oil and we are going to use half of a cup of liquid castile soap. Our next ingredient is coconut milk and I have chosen coconut milk because it promotes hair growth by stimulating your hair follicles. It is also very moisturizing and it moisturizes your hair from roots to end. It is also great for relieving those dry itchy scalps and it repairs damaged hair. So we are using one and a half cups of coconut milk.
Next, we are going to use half a cup of purified water, one teaspoon of apple cider vinegar, 1 teaspoon of coconut oil, one teaspoon of rosemary oil and one tablespoon of fenugreek powder. Fenugreek seed is amazing and it is actually the secret to the marvelous shampoo that can grow your hair and also stops dandruff and stop hair loss. Fenugreek helps to rebuild and strengthen the hair shaft; it is actually a natural conditioner and it is a good source of protein and amino acids. It gives the hair an amazing shine, it actually is loaded with vitamin B6, magnesium, and it is a phenomenal antioxidant I can go on and on about it. The fenugreek is that hidden Indian spice that grows that hair long. Now if you want to use the seeds you’ll have to soak it overnight, however, I chose the powder because it makes your life and my life much easier.
How to Make DIY Shampoo
Now we are going to mix this up very well so that all of our ingredients have a very good creamy consistency. I usually recommend a BPA-free bottle which is one of the best bottles that you can store food grade items in but any bottle with a squeeze top will do. The easiest way to pour your ingredients is to get yourself a funnel and you just take your funnel put it on your bottle and just pour all of your ingredients in there it makes your life so much easier with not so much mess. Once you put everything in your bottle, shake your bottle up and every time you use your shampoo make sure you shake your bottle up because some of the ingredients could settle at the bottom.
What you are going to have at the end of the day is a nice creamy consistency shampoo one with no Sodium Lauryl Sulfate or harsh chemicals; one that can grow your hair, stop your hair loss and get rid of that embarrassing dandruff.
