Perhaps you have forgiven about Arkup’s concept floating home but finally it has been completed and now available for sale for US$5.5 million. Its first model was recently unveiled by the firm during the Miami Yacht Show. Concept floating home is equipped with solar power, hydraulic stilts and has its own engines.

One of its most interesting features as compared to other floating home is its hydraulic stilts that enable the floating home to deploy to a depth of 20 ft to stabilize the dwelling and lift the structure above water line to avoid waves to reduce hull maintenance.
