You can customize your favorite photo with painting. First of all convert a digital photo to black and white, then print it on lightweight watercolor paper. Use laser printer, avoid ink-jet printers or contact your local copy shop. Color your favorite details from the image with watercolor paints (light color work will be the best) using soft brush. Remainders of the photo should be left black and white. Allow it to dry for at least 3 hours. If the first coat is not enough, apply another coat. Dry it completely before framing.
