Australian tiny house builder Hauslein has designed a couple of new models to its Sojourner tiny house series. Little Sojourner makes cleaver use of space to offers comfort of normal home and can be easily relocated by most of 4WD’s.On a heavy duty trailer, Sojourner has been constructed by termite proof timber frame and finished in western red cedar.
The interior have solid pine paneling, cypress pine floors and counters. The little Sojourner offers 215 Sq ft (20 Sqm) of floor space, providing lounge area, modern kitchen, bath room/laundry area with enough space for a full size fridge, oven and a front loader washing machine. However, a carpeted comfortable bed room has been provided on overhead.
Furthermore, through a nifty side out mechanism, another 2.6×6.9 ft (0.80 x 2.1 m) surface area has been extended. This was designed to add a three seater couch to increase the living room area and there is a fold out deck option also. Black fixtures and LED lighting add a modern charm to this tiny house. Little Sojourner can be used like a regular trailer or as a Carawan with a standard 240 V power system and toilet connected by a standard septic system. A solar power system is available as an optional extra from US$4,800 (AU$7,000) and composting toilet at US$1,400 (AU$2,000).
Pricing for the little Sajourner starts at US $51500.Hauslein has introduced a larger model called the Grand Sojourner having 32 Sq m area .This tiny house offers a double bed room with two lofts. It can be equipped for off grid living and pricing starts at US $75500. For more watch below video.
